Eagle Access is a trusted rope access company, providing services for new and old construction. These are just two of our most recent sites we've been contracted to work on.
1650 & 1680 Bayshore Drive Vancouver BC
Eagle Access Services was contracted by Black Brothers Painting and Restoration to remove and replace all external sealants present on metal to concrete joints. The 1680 tower boasts 92 suites and 22 levels while the 1650 tower is just a little smaller with 76 suites and 19 levels. Both buildings were built in 2003 and are of similar style and colour to other Bayshore Drive buildings in the Coal Harbour Area.
Our team worked diligently rapelling from the rooftop to remove all old and failed sealant in conjunction with a seperate team of washers and painters. After completion of the contract because of the quality and speed of our work, our contract was expanded to include expansion joints around the balconies of both buildings. After removal, all old materials were disposed of by our company. The areas were prepped by wire brush and paint brush to make sure any residue was removed. Joints were then filled with backer rod foam and caulked in by our team.
Our work here was highly successful and after completion, our contract was further expanded to include all metal to metal joints. In completion, Eagle Access had redone the entire buildings external sealant, all while working with another team to get the job done. After final inspection all deficiencies are corrected to make sure of compliance to regulation and engineering requirements.
Silver Tower (Intracorp)
Burnaby BC
Featured in the Vancouver Sun, Silver Living in Burnaby is a new high rise construction developed by Intracorp. This high tech tower stands tall at 38 storeys. Contracted by New York Painting, Eagle Access has been tasked with painting the exterior surfaces of the tower. Using fall arrest procedures and repelling equipment, we are more than 60 percent complete, even dealing with BC's wet fall weather.
